November 20th, 2011There are already plans to install charging stations across the eastern seaboard in New Hersey. It will make easier to electric cars users to charge their cars.
Chuck Feinberg, chairman of New Jersey Clean Cities Coalition told: “It will mean the world to electric cars,”. He worked well to sign pledges with states for building more charging stations continuously.
This is a great sign for a more green world. You know electric vehicles has many advantages for the environment such as air pollution.
Hybrid Car Sale Market Grows in Poland
November 3rd, 2011Hybrid Cars are preferred more in Poland these days according to Rzeczpospolita. The Toyota Prius is most popular car in Poland. We know its pretty popular in other countries too.
According to the Samar Institute, in first nine months there were 741 hybrid cars registered in Poland and also they told more than 800 hybrid cars were registered in last year 2010.
It’s really great news, we are more than happy to hear different countries use hybrid cars more than before. But what about other countries? Keep it green please, saving environment is in our hands. We wait more great news like this in future from other countries too.
Uganda’s first electric car tested by Makerere University

Uganda Makerere University had an exciting test in recent days. They made a test to try the Uganda’s first electric car. However we live in an age that electric cars improved incredibly, this is a new experience for Uganda. This two seated car is a project by the College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology.
This is a big development for Uganda, also the head of the Project, Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof. Tickodri –Togboa said: “We wanted to demonstrate we are capable. After, we shall scale up and produce a seven-seater. It is this version that will become commercial,”.
This vehicle does not use any fuel and it can be driven at 60km/hour speed. Car will use a battery like used in hybrid cars like Toyota Prius. You should drive it for 80 km with a full battery. Also planned vehicle that will have 7 seats will use a better battery and it will go 200km before recharging it.
Togboa didn’t mention any price for human-use. This is second try of Makerere University students for building an energy saving car. The first try was in 2008, students designed a energy-efficient prototype car.
